about the job.
- Collaborate with the Backend Lead and other teammates to develop backend services and APIs to support new features and enhancements
- Create technical specifications and participate in technical design using Java in a multi-threaded environment
- Translate business requirements from the product team into technical solutions with a modern tech stack
- Perform quality control and monitoring activities such as integration, testing, and documentation preparation
- Share knowledge and enthusiasm for software engineering techniques with the team
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 6+ years' hands-on experience in Java backend development, with knowledge of microservices and integration patterns; a background in the banking/financial services/fintech industry would be advantageous but not a must
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 or above, Spring Boot, and SQL
- Previous experience with AWS and building CI/CD pipelines using Docker/Kubernetes/Git is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to quickly adopt new technologies
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English is a must
- Understanding or interest in Fintech/Banking products such as financial exchange, cards, or e-wallets, etc.
- Candidates with less years of experience will be considered for the Backend Developer position
